Version 0.9.8.39 is now available for download. This release enhances the history tool to include a "report view" with the ability to schedule delivery of reports by email.
It also adds color palette support for the schema compare tool along with other general improvements such as a script order override option, etc.
A new schema compare report has been added that summarizes last 5 changes per object in each region and can see example differences in the report iteself, last tested date, last executed date, etc.
More flexible schema compare transformations are possible now: supports advanced use cases, maximum control of transformation using the template engine as the basis.
It's now optional to automatically check in code generated file changes (supports building larger changesets).
Data scripting control: separated options for disable triggers and disable replication (supporting use cases related to audit / triggers).
New use cases are supported for parallel script execution (more documentation to follow shortly).
And of course, minor bug fixes and performance improvements are included.

SQL-Hero Version 0.9.8.109 Released

Version 0.9.8.109 is now available for download. This release makes some improvements in the installer, especially the Express Install process. Default behavior on Express install is to now use a port/site dedicated to SQL-Hero. In addition, an actual web interface is being deployed during installation. The web site feature is incomplete - expect the next release to finish this important feature. In particular, your team members have a place to go and "claim" objects that have been changed in databases using a simple web-based interface. Reporting will also be available. Another feature in 0.9.8.109 is "Import from HTML" which demonstrates what will be available shortly in different forms (programmatic, central repository for relational data on the Internet, etc.). Now the Monitoring tool lets you write your own queries (e.g. your own favorite DMV queries) and have them run at regular intervals, have alerts fire based on their content, see changes in color-coded format, etc. There are numerous other fixes and improvements in this release as well.

The latest release includes important improvements in the installation process, especially for server components. It also completes the SQL-Hero portal web site that is installed as part of the web server components.
A new whitepaper is also available that covers how you can use the SHCommand.exe command-line tool to script out a series of steps that can refresh a QA environment with production-quality data (with scrambling of sensitive data, if needed). Find this in the whitepaper library at http://www.codexframework.com/library
